PURSUIT OF THE MASCULINE

Image
Masculinity . This means different things to different people.  In this 21st century world of gender fluidity and gender identity I am going to pause for a moment to describe the attributes I I consider to be key points of masculinity.  This does not mean I regard anyone with a penis as less than male, nor is it to denigrate women in any way - women may be described as masculine, but need not lose their femininity in order to be strong. That’s a misperception. Nor do men need to be lurking hulks to be masculine. (Think George Clooney as the masculine and Gal Gadot as the feminine in this example.) Men can be soft and gentle without being unmasculine, while women can be powerful and assertive and entirely feminine. This isn’t about labels, it’s about traits. There’s nothing in my eyes that is wrong with either of those two perspectives, or in the vast rainbow of degrees between those points and elsewhere. Being masculine means carry traits of the traditionally feminine side...

A LITTLE OF THE OLD CFNM

Image
Last column I talked about how job changes and other things have led me to a dramatic weight loss, and how that was making me feel both medically and physically. The good news is that I'm down another four pounds, but seem to have hit a wall. So not a lot more to report on that aspect of my physicality. The New Me, tan and all... On the other hand, I'm still enjoying an improved life in other ways. Lil Rambler has become visually larger, a result of the fat pad which surrounds all of our genitals becoming significantly decreased. A thinner man will have lower amounts of fat, therefore exposing more of the shaft of the penis - as you lose weight the dick itself doesn't get longer, it just seems to as the fat retreats. At present Lil has gone from being almost embarrassingly hidden, to usually hanging 3 or so inches limp. I makes a difference. Physically and psychologically. Another aspect of the decreased weight is Rambler's improved function. My erecti...

IT'S A HARD COCK LIFE

Image
I may have used that headline before. Ah well. Just a short update to note that I'm about three weeks into my "modified jelqing" routine and it's doing some good things for my erection. As I commented before, I don't buy into the whole "makes your cock bigger" line of promotion, but it does seem to be letting me more erect and at my largest for a more extended period of time. In addition, my flaccid cock tends to hang a little lower and longer than before. So, at the moment, the progress is good. My orgasms seem to be a little more intense, and I don't feel the grittiness in the core of my penis any more. There are a few spots left, but on the whole the penis feels smoother and more supple when I'm soft, if that's an acceptable way to describe it. Work with me here. I'm a work in progress in other ways. My cardio doctor has reduced a major med after I began getting dizzy spells, and my stamina is wayyy up from last ...

PENIS THERAPY

Image
I'm sitting on the deck of my home, doing something most people might misinterpret as masturbating. But that's not it, and cumming isn't my intent. A week or so ago I was reading about Asian massage techniques, particularly in regards to Chi and energy flows through the body. In particular the writer, a professional therapist, commented that in new patients he could feel a graininess to muscle and skin tone. This graininess is a block to proper blood flow. I began thinking about some of the physiological reactions we develop as we age, and in particular my own challenges with, among other things, erectile dysfunction. There are times, since this is my "full honesty, let it all hang out" blog, that I have trouble attaining or maintaining an erection. Hell, I'm a 58 year old man with a lot of body fat. It kind of, sadly, goes with the territory. Thirty years ago I was fit with a perhaps overly enthusiastic Lil Rambler gleefully pointing the way. But in...

JUST GOOD FRIENDS

Image
I strongly believe that each of us should have an intimate friend above and beyond our spouses. By intimate I don't mean sexually, I simply mean we have someone with whom we can talk about almost any topic, touch in intimate ways (not sexually, but intimately) and be ourselves. I mean someone who we can hold and be held, metaphorically and physically. Our spouses are the first line of support, obviously, but there are topics and issues which, of necessity,  you cannot discuss with them (sometimes they themselves are the topics in question). Guys have to talk to guys, and women have to talk to women (or, if you're lucky enough, someone of the opposite sex). There are times when you need someone who can simply be there for you, as both a sounding board and - sometimes - just to put their arm around you, pull you in tight and tell you it's going to be okay. So we need to have that other partner, with whom we can openly talk and be intimate with. For a long whi...

FIZZICAL PHITNESS

Image
Over the years my weight has fluctuated quite a bit. In my college years I was fit and had a pretty good physique. In later years I have - I hate to admit - become obese and at-times very unhealthy. Around six months ago I started a new job which involves a lot of activity. On my feet for up to eight hours, sometimes up and down ladders carrying heavy boxes. Fitness is good It's a great way to start the process of getting back into shape. Recently I've started wearing a Fitbit and am averaging around 12,000 steps on work days, and around 7000 on my days off. And the cool part is that I am recognizing all of the "symptoms" of wanting to return to a more fit condition. I am feeling the urge to stretch different muscle groups (and very happy they are presenting themselves as "muscle groups"). I feel great walking my dogs, and having the strength to control them without too much effort. Look, Ma, no tanlines I am also swimming with as much re...
